Aziza Akhmouch

Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)

Biography
Ms. Aziza Akhmouch is the Head of the Cities, Urban Policies and Sustainable Development division at the OECD. She has a PhD and MA in Geography and a Master degree in International Business. At the OECD she coordinates a team of analysts and economists advising governments with new data, evidence, and guidance in a wide range of urban policies to foster smart, inclusive, competitive and sustainable cities.

Dominique Berod

World Meteorological Organization (WMO)

Biography
Mr. Dominique Berod serves as Head of the Earth System Monitoring Division at the World Meteorological Organization (WMO). He has a MA degree in Environmental Engineering and a PhD in Hydrology, both awarded by the Swiss Institute of Technology at Lausanne. Besides being responsible for WMO activities on water, cryosphere and ocean monitoring and information systems, he, supports Member countries and relevant organizations in the development and operativity of networks and information systems with innovative approaches. He is also in charge of liaising with UN and other international organizations, river basin commissions and regional bodies.

Loïc Fauchon

World Water Council (WWC)

Biography
Mr. Loïc Fauchon, is the President of the World Water Council and former President of the Water Supply Company of Marseille. Graduated from the Institute of Political Studies of Aix-en-Provence, his career commenced as civil servant in public services and several local authorities like the Verdon River Syndicate, the Regional Council of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, the Departmental Council of the Bouches-du-Rhône and the City of Marseille, where he served as Chief of Staff to the Mayor of Marseille and as Secretary General. He is a member of multiple international and non-governmental organizations and of the HighLevel Expert and Leaders Panel on Water and Disasters (HELP).

Sicily Kariuki

Ministry of Water and Sanitation & Irrigation, Maji House- Nairobi

Biography
Hon. Sicily Kariuki serves as Principal Secretary at the State Department of Agriculture, Ministry of Water and Sanitation & Irrigation, Maji House- Nairobi. She graduated from the University of Nairobi and has a Masters in Business Administration with specialization in Food Laws and Regulations from Michigan State University. Before joining the institution, she acted as Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Tea Board of Kenya (TBK), as Chief Executive Officer of Fresh Produce Exporters Association of Kenya (FPAEK) and worked for Kenya Investment Authority (KENINVEST).

Sasha Koo-Oshima

Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO)

Biography
Ms. Sasha Koo-Oshima is the Deputy Director at the Land and Water Division in the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). With over 25 years of experience in international assistance and policy development in agriculture water and environment/natural resource management, she formerly served as Land & Water Officer at FAO, Senior Advisor/Director of US-China Clean Water Action Plan at the U.S. EPA, and Secretariat of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

Serigne Mbaye Thiam

Ministry of Water and Sanitation - Senegal

Biography
Hon. Serigne Mbaye Thiam is the Minister of Water and Sanitation in Senegal. Graduated from Commercial, Administrative and Financial Studies at Rouen Business School (France), he formerly served as Minister of Higher Education and Research in Senegal. served as Regional Councilor and Vice-President of the Kaolack Regional Council, Deputy, Vice-President of the Committee on Economy and Finance and General Rapporteur of the Budget of the National Assembly in 2001.

Anthony Slatyer

Water Policy Group, Australian Water Association (AWA), Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) & Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD)

Biography
Mr. Anthony Slatyer is the former Head of the Water Division at the Australian Government. He is currently providing consulting services in water policy and governance. He is also a founding member of the Water Policy Group (www.waterpolicygroup.com), an Affiliate of the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), a member of the ACT Committee of Australian Water Association (AWA), a member of the Technical Committee of the Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD).

Eric Tardieu

International Office of Water (IOWater)

Biography
Mr. Eric Tardieu is the Director General of the International Office of Water (IOWater). Graduated from the Polytechnic University and PhD on Process Engineering, he served in the public sector at institutions such as the Regional Directorate of Industry, Research and Environment Lower Normandy (2000-2003) and the General Secretariat for Regional Affairs (SGAR) of the Prefecture of the Lower Normandy Region (2003-2004). as Deputy Director General in charge of the development of the territory and the environment (2007-2010), before joining the Urban Community of Toulouse Métropole, as Deputy General Manager in charge of economic development, employment and international outreach. In 2012, he created and then headed the Metropolitan Agency for Economic Attractiveness "Invest in Toulouse".

Tom Williams

Water for the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD)

Biography
Mr. Tom Williams is the Director for Water for the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD). Graduated from Public Health Sciences, he is the former Director of at the International Water Association (IWA). He has also collaborated with a range of stakeholders such as government, research institutes, businesses, donor agencies, UN agencies and NGOs.
