Call for Abstracts

The organisers of the XVIII World Water Congress welcome abstracts for oral and poster presentations at the XVIII World Water Congress, which will be presented during the main congress programme. Experts, academics, policymakers, water professionals, private and public sector practitioners, and civil society stakeholders, from all disciplines and perspectives, who wish to share their work and experiences during the Congress are invited to submit an abstract. Abstracts can only be submitted on-line through the official Congress website.

Abstract should be closely relevant to the Congress theme and topics. Abstract cannot include graphs, charts, diagrams, images, references, or citations. An abstract should be around 300-400 words and should contain the following parts:

Submission Note

The abstract should be closely relevant to the Congress theme, and the author should identify under which sub-theme and topic the abstract fits best. Fill the abstract information in text format. Press "Save" button before you log out the system for multiple edits. Press "Submit" button to complete your submission. Please confirm that all the information you provided is correct, you will not be able to change it once it’s submitted.

Review Process

Newly submitted abstract will be reviewed by International Scientific Committee (ISC). The review result will be delivered to submitter by e-mail individually. All accepted abstracts will be assigned to the final programme of the Congress after confirming all presenters' registration.

Presenter's Registration

Individuals must first register for the Congress before submitting their abstracts. Presenters of accepted abstracts will have to pay the registration fees in order to present their work at the Congress.
